Meet The Team

Helen has been hairdressing for over 20 years now. This career has taken her into all directions of the trade including working on cruise ships for a years contract and doing her D32/33 and teachers training award so she is able to teach and assess within her salon enviroment.

Having her own salon was her ultimate goal. For the majority of her career she has worked in various town centre salons and has built a very loyal customer base. The secret to her success is sinserity, honesty, hard work and belief in herself that what she wanted was achievable. Covers all aspects of hairdressing

Helen has recently joined the Newark Business Club which she feels is great in bringing the business forward and to be recognised by other local businessess in newark and surrounding area.

Lucy is the stylist who has been working with Helen the longest, totalling 6 years with the company. She has 15 years of experience working in salons in and around Newark. Lucy was origionally fulltime and since returning from maternity leave came back 2 days a week Friday's and Saturday's.

Lucy is enthusiastic about work and enjoys the 2 days spent making people happy with their appearances. Also specialises in bridal hair but does all other aspects of hairdressing for women and men.

Sharna started with us at the age of 14 as a Saturday girl and has been with Pure Hair Design for over 4 years. She is now qualified in her level 2 hairdressing and will be continuing her training at Clarendon College doing her level 3 which is a more advanced course taking her to a higher level. In the meantime she is doing styling in the salon on a reduced price list. Ask at reception for details. Sharna is keen to progress in the trade and will be doing a course in barbering in 2011. A very friendly young lady with a lot of protential
